WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital is partnering with WBOY-TV, the local NBC & ABC affiliate, to kick off a monthly series titled ‘Miracle Moments.”  The segment will air during the station’s lifestyle show “304 Today” and then be shared on WBOY-TV’s social media channels. The series will focus on our Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals community impact, featuring campaigns, miracle patients, and Children’s providers. The goal will be to raise awareness of CMN Hospitals partnerships while promoting and stewarding our local and national partners.

We kicked off the series in February with the local reporter interviewing David Price, manager of the Morgantown, West Virginia Panda Express and Addison Schrock, 2024 Champion Child, while they taste test menu favorites (#TeamOrangeChicken).

The CMN Hospitals team has scheduled interviews based on the 2024 partner campaign schedule.

Since 2019 WVU Medicine Children’s and West Virginia’s five Nexstar stations have worked closely to harness what I like to call ‘the power of the microphone’ to inspire the community to take action and give back to their local CMN Hospitals.
